The Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay

This past weekend we were in Northern California for a destination wedding. The events were held at The Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, which if you have been there it feels like you are at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland.

The hotel is nestled on a cliff of the coastline in the quaint Half Moon Bay and is surrounded by lush greenery a lot of which is a 36-hole golf course.

It does tend to get a bit on the chilly side but the property has large communal fireplaces and a beautiful outdoor bar where you can sit outside over looking the Pacific sipping a glass of wine. It even has an indoor pool so this hotel is a great destination to go for a vacation or even a mini staycation if you are in the Bay Area.
