For today's blog, I am going to talk about some beauty and makeup products that I use. I have very dry skin and I noticed that during my pregnancy it got event more dry so I am sharing a few of my favorite products that I have used to combat that along with some makeup products that are my essentials.

Skin care is extremely important to me, especially as I get older I am noticing a lot of changes in my skin. If you know me, you already know that I LOVE all Tatcha products! My facialist only uses Tatcha products and it has truly made a difference in my skin. My nightly routine is to use all three of these products and in the morning I can tell that my skin has absorbed all the moisture and feels more plump. I also use the dewy skin mist (pictured on the right) as a makeup setter.



These products are a few staples that I use pretty much daily. I was first introduced to sheet masks by a friend of mind who brought a few back from a trip overseas and OMG! They are so effective...you may look like a character out of a horror movie when you put it on but it’s a small price to pay for the results. You can get them for any skin problem that you want to tackle. I usually put one on right before bed. The Shisedo sunscreen is one I have been using for a few years and I really like it because it’s lightweight and doesn’t feel like you are wearing a mask. I also use the Mario Badescu facial spray after I have moisturized and to set my makeup, as well. It smells so good!


I just discovered this Soap & Glory lotion at Target and it is so moisturizing. Again, I have super dry skin and this lotion has ingredients like Shea Butter and Aloe Vera which are really good for that. It also smells like heaven! So the Per-fekt body gel is an interesting product and I didn’t take to it the first time I tried it because it felt like it was a little too much work for me, but I stuck with it and I LOVE it now. I use it if I am wearing a dress or an outfit where my legs are exposed and it basically evens out and covers any scars I may have while also making them tan. Great combination :)



These are definitely my holy grail every day makeup products. The Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel is an incredible way to bronze up your face after foundation just to give it a glow. It’s a little on the pricier side but a little goes a long way. I have had mine for over a year and I just recently hit the bottom of the container. I love liquid lipsticks but some of the formulas can be super drying.Marc Jacobs just came out with a beautiful line of liquid lip crème. I believe there are about 6 shades and they feel more like a satin lipstick texture. I also love Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks. I feel like she was the first one to come up with the liquid lipstick concept? Fact check me if I’m wrong but I do love them. I also use her Brow Whiz pencil to fill in brows. I remember going to her salon 13 years ago to get my brows down for my wedding and being in awe back then and she has come so far-Bravo!I just discovered the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. I used to get eyelash extensions and found that I had no lashes or sparse lashes after a while so I have been looking for a mascara that gives me volume and the illusion that I have lashes and this is it-I swear by it!
