A Romantic Reception

This is our first blog of the New Year and we are excited to start 2017 with you!

Today we are sharing our last wedding of 2016. This could not have been a sweeter family to work with. They wanted a simple and elegant reception for 250 guests because the couple had gotten married a month prior with a ceremony and small reception for close family and friends.

In designing the reception, we wanted to keep with the color scheme of the ballroom and use reds and golds for a very romantic feel with candles and warm lighting. Our focal point was the stage where we placed 2 large mirrors and chandeliers and a beautiful lounge vignette for the couple to sit on as they made their Grand Entrance and took pictures with family.



The head table for 12 featured beautiful linen from Wildflower Linen with the Sasha Gold Chair sleeves from Nikki's designer series collection and the flowers were in tones of reds with tall and short arrangements on the tables to add depth and texture to the room. Lots of candles and beautiful lighting completed the look of the room and along with a sitar player who was played everything from classical Indian music to the latest top 40 hits from Coldplay, Beyonce, etc.
