Hi Everyone!

The 2012 Wedding Faire will feature a series of classes called “The Wedding Symposium“.  They have invited me and three other wedding planners (Preston Bailey, Sasha Souza, and Bryan Rafanellito) to share our expertise and teach both brides & industry professionals about our style, innovation and an up close and personal view of how we create amazing weddings!

This is an unparalleled experience that includes workshops, designer décor, mentoring sessions, a wedding luncheon and book signing. I will be teaching a special session called Creating Opulent Cultural Weddings on Friday, January 6 for event professionals and Sunday, January 8 for brides. I hope to see all of you there! Highlights of ABC Ventura-Santa Barbara talk with Mary Dann-McNamee

Wednesday night at the Santa Barbara-Ventura Chapter of ABC Mary Dann-McNamee’s talk explored the dynamics of working with leaders and followers. She provided insights and tools that will serve the Santa Barbara ABC Community as they journey through any type of intimate event planning situation; such as a mother-daughterplanning a wedding, teenager and parents planning a mitzvah or a corporate planner and their team planning a gala or corporate meeting.

The presentation was based on years of experience working with couples in a therapeutic situation combined with her expertise in special events.  Read more...
