Youngsong Martin of Wildflower Linens and I came up with the idea of doing a photo shoot that was slightly different. Our concept and story began with the idea of the hostess that is throwing a dinner for her close friends and realizes at the eleventh hour that she does not have a gown to wear; hence her gown becomes part of her table linen. I wanted to use my china and silverware for this shoot and Sunny of White Lilac, Youngsong of Wildflower Linen and I created a table scape with Madiha of Exquisite Events as the model.

This lovely color palette is more neutral, but still very romantic in silver and cream with light blue and black accents. The linens and chair covers are so romantic and elegant! Friday, September 30th, 2011We had an amazing opportunity to collaborate on a beautiful tabletop design with Sunny Ravanbach, of White Lilac Inc., and Youngsong Martin of Wildflower Linen. The photo shoot was held at Hummingbird Nest in the gorgeous Santa Susana Mountains. This Spanish property is not only surrounded by lovely views, but also has several outdoor spaces that are perfect for ceremonies, receptions and private events for up to 5,000 guests!
We brought our own china for the photo shoot, Youngsong showed up with the beautiful geometric table cloth and feminine ruffled chair covers, Classic Party Rentals brought the chairs, and Sunny provided the vases, pillows, candles and gorgeous flowers. The color palette was so soft and inviting in peaches, pinks and light yellow with gold and pewter accents.
