My favorite songs to ring in 2011

Hi everyone!

As most of you know, music is such an important part of a party and really sets the tone for whatever event you are having. That being said, it is also key to pick the right music for the right occasion.

The last few NYEs have been at my house and I like to get the party started with my favorite songs from that year and years ago. I have compiled a little list of my favorites for 2010 that always get the party going….let me just say one word-Prince!

An Exquisite Event

A few years ago we hosted our first bridal show at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. It was a year in the making and having never hosted a bridal show before, it was quite a learning process along the way. However, in the end we got some amazing sponsors and vendors to participate along with our special guest speaker, Preston Bailey!

The 500 people that attended the event got a true bridal experience with about 30 of the top vendors in the wedding industry, a number of fashion shows, delicious food and amazing entertainment.

Ashvini and Raj were “set up” by two different friends as she described to us. The first time, she told her friend she did not have time and was tired of blind dates. The second time, she recognized the description as the same guy her other friend tried to set her up with, so she hesitated….but still went. From then on, they both describe it as fate and the planning began!

Ash and Raj wanted a ceremony and a reception that was traditional yet elegant and contemporary. They chose the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa and reached out to us to design the event. Read more...

December Fashion Inspiration

We love the cutting edge designs of Elan by Khadija Shah. The perfect marriage between eastern and western design, Shah manages to capture the essence of the female form. She launched Elan 6 years ago and has since been respected for her use of color, material, and flattering silouettes for all body types. We continue …to be inspired by the atelier Elan and look forward to seeing the 2011 collection!

18th Birthday Party

Who said there can only be a sweet 16?! This was an 18th birthday party for a very special girl named Miah who had 200 of her closest friends and family commemorate her milestone birthday at her family’s beautiful home. Pink is her favorite color, so of course we incorporated that in the decor with the linen, florals, and lighting. Read more...

A Fun and Elegant Affair

What a fun wedding this was! The bride and groom wanted to create a traditional yet elegant event using reds and golds for the ceremony and blush tones for the ceremony. The ceremony and reception were held in the same ballroom with a quick turnover during the cocktail hour.

Such a fun couple and family to work with!
